About Us

We are a family of four working to glorify God as we cultivate and expand our little homestead in southern Colorado. We breed Tibetan yaks to sell, raise chickens for eggs, and are attempting to establish a garden for fresh produce, along with various crafting and property management projects. We’re remembering some things, learning others, and aiming to continually improve all around.

Windy Grace is a reference, yes, to the fairly consistent and sometimes impressive (catastrophic!) wind that we experience physically where we live. It’s also one of the ways we often experience God’s grace in our lives: sometimes as a refreshing breeze in a still morning, and sometimes as an overwhelming gale force whipping things in our life from their usual places, but usually something in between those extremes. The physical wind isn’t always welcome, but the spiritual wind of grace draws us ever closer to the Father.
